Explanation of the 23rd Hadith in the Heart Therapy Series:

Shakal ibn Humayd said: I came to the Prophet salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam and said: “O Messenger of Allah, teach me a protective du‘a with which I can supplicate to seek refuge.” So he held my hand and said: “Say: ‘O Allah, I seek your refuge from the evil of my hearing, the evil of my sight, the evil of my tongue, the evil of my heart, and the evil of my private part.’”
Reported by Abu Dawud (1551) and al-Tirmidhi (3492). It is declared to be hasan gharib by al-Tirmidhi, hasan by ibn Hajar and al-Suyuti, and sahih by al-Albani (Sahih al-Tirmidhi 3492)
