Dr. Ali Albarghouthi received his Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Waterloo–Wilfrid Laurier Joint Ph.D. Program in Religious Studies. His dissertation focused on the concept and practice of Ijtihad in North America.
He is the author of Heart Therapy: Forty Hadiths in the Purification of the Soul, Jesus in the Quran, and What Muhammad Said About Jesus.
He lives and teaches in Toronto.
